CITY OF PRINCETON ORDINANCE NUMBER 322

ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PRINCETON CITY CODE WITH RESPECT TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

 

BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Princeton

SECTION 04.    SECTION MODIFIED.

Section 21.04 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Princeton, Iowa, is repealed and the following adopted in lieu thereof:

CHAPTER 21

PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

21.04   COMPENSATION.  All members of the Commission, with the exception of the Chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall serve without compensation, except their actual expenses, which shall be subject to the approval of the Council. The Chair of the Planning, who is also acts as the Zoning Administrator for the City shall receive compensation of salary of forty dollars ($40.00) for each meeting of the Commission attended.

                                                                           (Code of Iowa, Sec. 392.1)

 

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase hereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

This ordinance shall become effective upon publication as required by law.
