November 19th Thanksgiving Day crafts at 10:00

The Beautification Committee is looking for a few donations of Christmas decorations.  The items should be appropriate for commercial window-dressing and in good condition.  6-7’ pre-lit trees are especially desirable.  If you have any items which are not being used any longer, please contact Myrna Dannett at or (563) 289-2526.




Spaghetti dinner for the Princeton Summer Fest from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on November 8TH at the Fire Station.  Go vote – come eat!




Zion Lutheran Church is having their annual Harvest Festival on Saturday,  November 12th  from, 4:30pm – 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.  Children ages 4 and under are free. There will also be a live & silent auction.  Everyone is welcome.




Virgil Grissom Craft & Vendor event is Tuesday November 15th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Virgil Grissom school.
















































A reminder to refrain from blowing leaves into the streets when mowing.  This clogs the sewers and can result in a back-up.




Plan and Zoning Committee still has openings.  This is an important committee with regard to the development of the community.  No experience is necessary.  Call City Hall if interested.




The City started a free text club.  Text nn605 to 36000 to join.  This is city-sponsored to help keep citizens aware of street closures, storms, or other pertinent information which might affect citizens.




City Compost Site will be open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Nothing other than yard waste and no longer than 3 feet in length will be accepted.  No TV’s, washers, microwaves, or other such items will be accepted. Volunteers needed!

Free Blood Pressure checks will be offered by Princeton Fire Department every Sunday from 10 am until noon.  No appointment is necessary.




City offices will be closed on Friday, November 11th, for Veteran’s Day and on Thursday and Friday, November 24th and 25th in observance of Thanksgiving.




All City committee meetings are open to the public at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Thursday 6:00 – Community Center
